Likely Legacy

This article is based on a fictional scenario.

Famous footballer Sam Likely’s son Trev Likely won a Best and Fairest award at Unseen University Football Club’s presentation evening last night.

President Mustrum Ridcully said award winner Likely played with “fortitude” and “skill” in a speech at The Mended Drum pub.

“Without him we would have no team at all,” he said.

Unseen University Academicals lost the final match against Ankh Morpork United.

The Mended Drum Manager Terrence Lowly was angry because players became drunk and caused damage to the pub last night.

Likely smashed glasses and spilled drinks when he fell over.

Ankh Morpork United President Henry Dean said a pub did not know how to run a football awards night.

“No establishment we hold our awards night in would serve alcohol to a legless person,” Ankh Morpork United President Henry Dean said.
