Helping the homeless

On any given night in Australia 1 in 200 people are homeless. Almost half are under the age of 26. A social enterprise named HoMie is working to reduce the number of people without a place to call home. A community grant will enable the enterprise to run an accredited employment training program next year.

Reporter Rochelle Kirkham speaks to HoMie co-founder Robbie Gillies about the initiative.

First aired on SYN 90.7FM from 4.30pm on Tuesday October 26, 2016.
